Bodyguard Personalities ©

The two personality types that support the core personality type. Looking at the Personality Wheel, Bodyguard Personalities are always the personality types positioned on either side of someone’s Core Personality type. These two personality Bodyguards function as backup to the Core Personality, especially when something is happening that pushes the Core Personality out of its comfort zone.

The complete personality combination that underlies our identity. It includes our Core Personality type and two Bodyguard Personality types. The way that the Core and Bodyguards interact is unique to every person. So no two people are the same, even if they have the same Personality Triad. Every person on the planet is a completely unique individual.

Personality Building Blocks ©

Each of the nine possible Personality Types brings together two fundamental components (aka Personality Building Blocks) of human identity. Each component answers a basic question about what makes us who we are.

The first component answers the question “what aspect of life plays the most powerful role in our identity?” For Social Personalities, the relationship aspect of life plays the most powerful role in identity. For Ideas Personalities, internal thoughts and feelings play the most powerful role in identity. And for Physical Personalities, the physical reality of life plays the most powerful role in identity.

The second component answers the question “what motivates us through life’s challenges?” For Explorer Personalities, it is the feel-good experience that can be achieved in each moment that is the most powerful motivator to not give up when life is difficult. For Changemaker Personalities, the possibility of making a difference awakens the strength to push through tough times. For Connector Personalities, it is the experience of healing the chaos or unifying the fragments of life in some way that helps them deal with the stresses of life. ©
