It seems like Lily has been trying to get money out of Josh since he arrived in China. He made it look like he was trying to pay for the wedding, and blamed technical difficulties for his inability to do so.
In your opinion ...
Was Josh… (A) really trying to access his money so he could pay for the wedding, or (B) pretending to try, knowing it would not go through ?
